Queen Latifah!

Rhiannon and her friends were invited to perform on the Queen Latifah Show, along with feminist icons Gloria Steinem and Gladys Knight!

After they performed, Queen Latifah, who’d actually started out in spoken word, had an educational discussion on the power of poetry with the girls!

I am so happy that their live performance has been shared so widely. It’s such an important message, and everyone needs to understand the injustice that still occurs in the world. I think that speaking out through spoken word, written poetry, and blogging is a wonderful way for us to get our voices heard.

You’re welcome! I’m so glad you enjoyed my blog. I also believe that we have so many opportunities to speak up and voice our concerns about the word we live in today.

Happy Spring to you as well! 🙂

That is so cool that you got to do that! You have gotten to do so much through just being yourself. It’s such an inspiration. You are so very talented (all three of you are), and it’s wonderful that you are getting to show your talent in such a magnificent way. Thank you for shining your amazing light over everyone.
